Helmut Duhs
Helmut Duhs was born in Klagenfurt, Austria in 1971. In 1990 he got a degree of Engineer of Communications Technology and in 1993 he graduated from University of Vienna with a Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science. In 2002 he completed post-graduate study at the Danube University with a Diploma of Executive MBA.
He started his professional career in 1992 as a consultant for development and implementation of financial software. Since 1996 he has been working for Telekom Austria Group on different managerial positions in the financial sector. In 2004 he was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of mobilkom austria group services GmbH and also a member of mobilkom austria group Executive Board. Since 2007 Helmut Duhs has been successfully managing the Belarusian Segment of Telekom Austria Group being recognized both on the local and international levels.
Nikolay Yushkevich
Nikolay Yushkevich was born in Korolev Stan village, Minsk district, in 1964. He graduated from Leningrad Electro-Technical Institute of Telecommunications named after Bonch-Bruevich as a telecommunications engineer. He also served in the navy.
He started his career in 1987 as a telecommunications electrician in Minskobltelecom. From 1998 till 1999 he worked as an assistant to Telco Minister of Belarus. Nikolay joined A1 (at that time - Mobile digital communications) in April 1999 as General Director. From 2001 till 2005 he occupied different executive positions and left the company in 2005 from the position of First Deputy General Director. From 2006 till 2011 Nikolay worked as CTO of Belarusian Telecommunications Network (BeST). In December 2012 he returned to A1 to take over the position of First Deputy General Director.
Vladimir Sachkov
Vladimir was born in Kalinkovichi in 1974, graduated from the Baltic State Academy with a degree in technical operation of transport radio equipment. In 2003, he received a second degree in management at the Baltic Institute of International Business.
In 1997 he began working at Extel CJSC as an engineer, in 2002 he became the Technical Director of the company. In 2007 Vladimir joined Vimpelcom OJSC as the Technical Director in North-West Region. In 2009 he became the head of the technical sector of ArmenTel CJSC. In 2014 he continued his career as Deputy General Director for Technical Issues at velcom, in 2017 he became the Technical Director of StepLogic South LLC, and in 2019 he was appointed as the Technical Director of Miatel LLC. From 2021, Vladimir has been working at A1 as Head of Network Operation division, and in March 2022 he was appointed as the Senior Director for Network Operation. In April 2024 Vladimir Sachkov was appointed to the position of Senior Director for Technology.
Yury Levdansky
Yury was born in Minsk in 1981. In 2003, he graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Communications as a telecommunications engineer. In 2006, he received a second degree in Economics and Management at the Belarusian National Technical University. In 2010, he studied at the London Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2013, he received an Executive MBA from Kozminski University.
He started his professional career in 2001 at Avilink. From 2005 to 2008 he held the position of the Technical Director at Mobile Service LLC, the system integrator. Since 2008, Yuri was responsible for work with telecom operators and business development in the CIS countries at Cisco System, and in 2014, he became the head of Cisco System representative office in Belarus. Since 2015, he worked as the Managing Director of Netland Group.
In March 2022, Yury Levdansky was appointed as the Senior Director for Information Technology at A1.
In November 2023 Yury Levdansky was appointed to the position of Senior Director for Enterprise and Information Technologies.
In April 2024 Yuri Levdansky was appointed to the position of Senior Director for Commerce.
Olga Shafarenko
Born in Gomel. In 2007 Olga graduated from Belarusian State Economic University with a degree in global economy and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 2011 she received an international Master Degree in the field of finance, accounting and auditing ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
Olga Shafarenko began her career at A1 in 2009 in operational controlling department and went through the entire career path from an economist to Head of Controlling in 2019. From June 2021 to November 2022 she served as M&A (mergers and acquisitions) manager. In November 2022, she headed company’s Procurement Division.
From December 1, 2023, Olga Shafarenko was appointed to the position of Senior Director for Finance at A1.
