Tickets for long-expected shows Radio Prudok at Kupalovsky Theatre in June available from 3 May
May 2, 2018
Highly anticipated start of ticket sale for Radio Prudok shows in June based on a novel by Andrus Gorvat, premiere of which is already fully booked out, is planned on 3 May at 11am. Roman Podolyako, one of the actors of the said theatre, is the director of the performance designed under support of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and velcom.
5 shows based on a popular novel will be staged in June: on 1, 4, 10, 25 and 26. In order to see the performance one has to hurry up with bookings: tickets for May shows were sold out within just few hours upon sale announcement as well as for extra show organized considering high demand.
The show will retell a story of Andrus Gorvat, a journalist from Minsk who wanted to change his life: at first, he became a street cleaner at Kupalovsky Theatre, then made up his mind to move to Prudok, a village in Polesiye, in order to restore the house of his grandfather. He used to regularly post his impressions in Facebook. Consequently, these posts turned into a book in order to ultimately serve as a foundation for creation of a short film Yagor, a winner in the national nomination of velcom Smartfilm festival, and now a full-fledged show.
Although the performance is based on diary notes this is an experiment, and the theatre plans to add it to the stock. Lead roles are featured by Mikhail Zui, Dmitry Yesenevich and Svetlana Anikei. The show is staged in chamber hall while tickets are available at box offices of Kupalovsky Theatre or online on kupalauski.by or from ticket operators.
By the way, one can make a trip not only to the universe of the lead character but also to his home area too: in July the first night show Radio will be staged in Prudok. Just follow the news on velcom.by and kupalauski.by
