City festival Classiс Music at Cityhall together with velcom, a traditional decoration of warm summer nights, is for the fourth time organized in Minsk. Every Saturday from 14 July till 25 August Minskers and guests will enjoy masterpieces of classic music from an open air stage at Cityhall which is already named as a cultural center of the capital.
Classic Musiс at Cityhall together with velcom is organized by Minsk City Executive committee under the auspices of velcom. This year fans of classic music will get an updated concert program that features performances of «prime» orchestras – the National Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus and Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus have already confirmed their participation.
The first concert within the framework of Classic Music at Cityhall together with velcom will take place on this Saturday 14 July. The stage in front of Minsk Cityhall will host the National Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the baton of the national artist of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Anisimov who will perform masterpieces of «classic music» of various days: from baroque to modernity.
This summer the fans of classic music will enjoy an abundance of other pleasant surprises such as for example vibrant and irreplaceable violin player Maimuna, one of Eurosong 2015 contestants. By the way, the first press conference of the festival Classic Music at Cityhall together with velcom that was this year organized in front of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus to the accompaniment of the fountains and ensemble of the soloists of the National Academic Symphonic Orchestra was quite a surprise too.

«The fourth season of the festival will invite Minskers and guests of the city to seven «classic Saturdays» where every night is a unique thematic concert of classic music performed by the bands and artists well-known in Belarus and abroad. These are the National Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, honored orchestra of the Belarusian National Academic Music Theatre, concert orchestra Nemiga, music capella Sonorus, Minsk youth chamber orchestra, etc.»
Within the framework of Classic Music Together with velcom there will be masterpieces of world classic music performed: well-known pieces а music by Bach, Beethoven, Verdi, Chopin, Mozart. Besides, the program features little-heard compositions that will be a stunning surprise for true fans of classic music. Traditionally admission is free. All concerts start at 8.30 pm.
